I am a designer, merchandiser, and stylist. My wide range of skills help me to see the industry from all aspects. As a graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in apparel merchandising and design I take my career very seriously. I have also studied at the London College of Fashion and intensively focused on fashion business during my time there. I was extremely involved in college as played a huge part in Trend Magazine and The Fashion Show. However, I am first and foremost a designer. My passions include asymmetrical and eclectic designs. My internship experience with Obey Clothing really tied my college experience together. While there I was the design, development, and styling intern. I was very much involved with the brand and worked on creative and technical projects in both the men's and women's departments. I played a large part in photo shoots and worked very closely with their marketing team. Currently I am using my skills to work in the pre-production field at Allegro Creative. My position the is Production Life-Cycle Management Coordinator. Basically I am the bridge that links design to production. I design shapes for new line development and use my skills to select colors and fabrics for our products to be sampled in house. I also have a passion project entitled The Indigo CLCTV. It is an online publication that focuses on social, cultural and environmental issues which incorporating art and fashion. Look further to see examples of my work in all of my fields.
